The LuncheoNETTE

Well, where’s the kitty bed?? I wanna SEE!

Hats look GREAT!!

I love the hats!!! Especially the striped one. I’m hoping that you are feeling better these days, and over the pneumonia?

Those hats are way, way cool!

Thanks I think I like hats a lot. They are so much fun and so easy. The kitty pi I thought would fit on this chinese planter but was too small, turnned over and still the was too small. got a bucket, the lip too big for the pi , turned that over and it worked for drying. I made the sides higher, for sure need a wider base. My childs hat was made from the small left overs from my Pi bed.
I am still coughing and causing people to look at me as if I typhoid or something. The last antibiotics cost $90.00 and they were suppose to be very strong the doc said. My roommate has been well last 2 weeks and I have gone through 2 rounds of antibiotics, 3 bottles of nyquil ( gonna have to join nyquil aa meetings) 2 bottles of robitussin and 1 bottle of vicks 44. I have waken up Richard at 2 am with my coughing fits. I am hoping it all passes very soon. We have our Polish eve celebration coming up. Thanks for asking.

Cool Kitty bed!! My kitties want one!! They have 3 other “storebought” kitty beds, but given their tendency to want to sleep on anything I have that is felted, I think I should knit them a kitty pi. :cheering:

OH Annette! Its GORGEOUS!!! If the kitty absolutely CANNOT fit his way into it, you could use it on the table as a fancy schmancy fruit bowl! Or on the floor for a yarn basket…its SOOOO preety!

Kelly’s right–so pretty! Who says it has to be a cat bed? They manage to find comfy places to sleep all on their own, anyway!!

I love the cat bed! And I hope you start to feel better soon! :frowning:

looks great!!! I like the bowl idea, too!!! MY cats would love it, if you’re don’t

LOL use it as a yarn basket - your kitty will figure out how to fit into it once it’s full of YARN!!! :roflhard:
Feel better  and have a great… ok what the heck is Polish eve??

Poor Lance, he appreciates My stuff much more than the snotty princess.
So I am for sure making him a larger version, he is such a sweety hopping in this. He has been spotted a couple times today and late last night in it, the trick was to get his pic without him jumping out.

My woven scarf, I came here to check blocking instructions, I think the hardest part of this one will be the blocking. I tend to use sale or older yarn before using the good stuff when I have doubts, now I have some pretty turqouise planned for this since I really like it.

I’d say kitty likes it!! Look at those eyes!!!

Wow, Annette- you really do knit some beautiful things!! That scarf is really cool.

The cat- :roflhard: “Take my picture if you wish, but please make it quick.”

OMG, I LOVE :inlove: that scarf!!! Pattern??
And I just can’t get over how handsome your kitty is… and he seems to  that bed!!

Fasting today for our Wigilia celebration. I am soooo hungry already.

Punk the woven scarf pattern was from my LYS, no name just a pic and on the bottom says page 80, it is a photocopied one.

Thanks for the compliments about Lance in his bed, he is humbled I am sure, Lance is so insecure he would hide his face from all the attention. It turmed chilly and surprising that he came out from under the beds blankets to hop in this. So I vow to make him a nice bigger cosy one in nice blues I think for his eyes.

I have finished all my gifts and trying to decide which to do next. I am going to remake the scarf in some good karabella yarn I have, order some noro in a green ratio for a oregon tote for my sister to go with her winter coat, and I kinda wish I went to the LYS for the woolens for lances bed. I have some blues but not enough of a range in scale.

My roommate has reminded me that I am neglecting my quilting. I am seriously thinking about how to incorporate felting into my quilting. I been saving my scrap wool bits to experiment in making felted fabric for sewing. I think I also might try a knitted or crochet edging on a quilt and see how that goes. A nice lace border would be interesting.

:inlove: Ohhhh, a felted quilt!!!
How wonderful!!

Now my brain is going a thousand miles and hour… what a great idea!!

Been a very long time since I posted here. I cant remember for the life of me how to do a pic. I will do a test to see if I can.

Been so long, thought I would add some completed projects here. I did a hot water bottle sweater, it is too cute and who wants a naked hot water bottle? My scrap quilt, I took all scraps in a shopping bag and cut them up to the size from a mccalls quilt cover mag. The point was not to over think which I do too much and just use what you pull out of a bag and attached to next piece pull out and no worry what goes next to each other. Great test for overcoming the overthinking monsters.

My beach quilt, still working on it, combined two patterns, the beach houses from one and the flip flops from another. I decided to add a beach ball and lotion, and i will add sunglasses as well I think.
The fused quilt was a group effort. Everyont cut circles in shapes and sizes and we exchanged and fused to make what we could with them in out own quilts.

Those look great!
