I needed a quick birthday gift so I finished these up this past weekend. They are pillow blanks, since i have to mail them I am unsure if I should put pillow forms in or not. The post office is breaking me lately. Now I need to make lavender and shades of purple washcloths to go with some lavendar soap I bought. Its that time of year for me to sit down and plan out presents whether bought or made.
Those pillow covers are beautiful! Are they machine or hand quilted?
Thank you Lulubell, they are machine quilted. I do not hand quilt anything, I do all machine work. I do up to lapsize on my machine until I get a farm table or win the lottery and get a long arm machine. All my fullsize bed tops hang in the closet. I dont send any of my quilts out, and another of my friends does others quilts for her business so I could easily have them done but I dont see the point of having someone else complete my quilt. I am old fashion …100% by me or not at all.
You know I should do a knitted lacy edge around those, that of course will make the gift late, hmm I wonder If I could come up with something like that. I never tried it yet.
