Each blanket only needs 25 knitters, and we met that quota some time ago. I have added you to the list of “pinch knitters” who will cover in case someone needs to back out of their commitment. We will also be making another oddball blanket when we get a total of 25 extra knitters. (right now we have 6)
Shandeh–you can go ahead and put me on the pinch hitters/next blanket list. I’ll be happy to do two sittings w/ the blanket if someone has to drop out or I’d be happy to go ahead and commit myself to the next go 'round too!

It’s so funny! I was reminded of when I was in 3rd grade, and there was this girl in class that EVERYBODY liked. We kept a list of names, designating who would get to sit beside her for lunch each day. :teehee: I NEVER thought I would ever be as popular as her!

I got it in the mail today, it is sooo pretty and soft.

Ok, I have to say this is so cool! I love seeing 1) What people are getting, and 2) that people are sending little presents!
I think it is so indicative of this forum that people are not only knitting for charity, but giving to those who are giving of their time.
What a group of people. I just love that there is so much help, fun, and caring on this forum. I don’t see a lot of that on a daily basis, and I have to admit, this forum is one of my forms of escape from the “real” world.
Although admittedly I don’t really live in the “real” world, 40 hours a week. My stress level has gone down considerably since I started knitting, AND since I found KH!
