I’ve not done this before. When I click on the subscribe link, it asks me to download a file. Is this normal?? I’d like to find out before I download something. Thanks!
It’s kind of a just for fun thing. If you subscribe to the blog, and someone clicks your blogspot profile, they can see what blogs you’re subscribed to.
newamy, I lived in Hood River, Oregon for 5 months. I loved it. It was beautiful. That was in 1991. I’m sure things has changed a lot since then but I’m sure it’s still beautiful!!!
Lestrella, I grew up 20 minutes east of Hood River in The Dalles. It hasn’t changed that much since 1991…though I understand on the week ends Hood River is the place to be. I think they have an antique thing where various dealers all congregate in one place and I know they have two yarn shops- one more standard and one that seem to sell only locally spun yarn and fiber, I think. I’ve just looked at the web sites, never visited. I still go to The Dalles to visit but never really stop in Hood River; but I have been meaning to pay a visit to the yarn store. The river and view are still very lovely- however having grown up with it it is rather wasted on me, I think. People that have never seen it are usually very impressed. Many places in Oregon are beautiful.
I love love love the cables! :cheering: Awesome job Lestrella!
This blanket really is going to be a masterpiece when we are all done!
Great job on the blog Shandeh!
All of this talk of Oregon is making me reminisce. I was on a traveling retreat team about eight years ago and we spent a lot of time in The Dalles, Hood River actually all over Oregon. Of all the states we vistited (we vistited about 10 and parts of Canada) Oregon would have to be my favorite. Everyone I met was so nice, the whole state is just beautiful and because of the weather I had great hair :teehee: My curls really liked it there!
