Oddball Blanket #1 is Complete!

lestrella… grrrl. :teehee: beautiful work! Carolina girls, best in the world. I have a cap with that stitched upon it.

Looking forward to having the blanket in my house. And wondering if the SoCal contingent could possibly schedule a meetup when we’re finished and are about to ship it elsewhere.

Sure, works for me!

:notworthy: GORGEOUS! :notworthy:
Lestrella, you are putting us all to shame. Doing cables for the first time on a 300 stitch blanket! WOW!

The cables look great!
I’m sure that by the time the blanket reaches me I’m going to have think of something really nifty to do.

I think I’m the only Oregon “blanketeer” No meet up for me. :pout:

Shandeh, I know you have the master list of knitters somewhere on this forum, but could you maybe add it to the top or a side bar of the blog you started with check offs or something so one can quickly see where it’s at in relation to where we are at?? I hope that wouldn’t be too difficult to do.

Amy

I’ll see what I can do, Amy.

I just spent about an hour updating our blog. Let me know how you like it! http://oddball-blanket.blogspot.com/

Hey Shandeh, the blog looks great! :cheering:

Quick question, how do I subscribe to it? I have a blogspot blog, too, and I’ve seen people’s profiles where they’ve subscribed to other KAL blogs, but I can’t figure out how to do it.

You guys are so fast!!!

The blanket looks GREAT!!

I’m next on the list and I am getting nervous, and excited. I am so glad to be part of this and I hope I can live up to what you all have accomplished. As soon as I get the blanket I will choose a color and get working on it.

The cables look great, wonderful job Lestrella :notworthy:

I think I would have to set up the blog to receive subscribers, and I don’t know how to do that. I’ll see if I can figure it out and let you know.

The blog is already set up for subscribers. You just scroll down to the very bottom of the blog, and click where it says, “Subscribe to: Posts (Atom)” Then, it will open another window, where you will click “Subscribe to this feed”

Fabulous update on the blog!
Now if I miss a few days of forum posting it will be easy to check on.

great job sandy!!!

I’m also in the SoCal contingent and would love to meet up to either pass the blanket along, or pick it up

Thank you so much guys!!! I was a little nervous as I wasn’t sure you were going to like it. I’m glad you did!!! :cheering:

newamy, I lived in Hood River, Oregon for 5 months. I loved it. It was beautiful. That was in 1991. I’m sure things has changed a lot since then but I’m sure it’s still beautiful!!!

Shandeh, the blog looks great!!! BTW, I just pm you.

GennyLynn, thanks for the PM. I will be mailing the blanket tomorrow, or this afternoon, if I get the chance.

lissalue, I just PM you back.
