Mmmm…baked sweet potato! With butter, and maybe some brown sugar… :inlove: :inlove: :inlove:

They serve it with honey cinnamon butter. :drooling:

OMG!!! I’ll have to try that!! :inlove:

My girls don’t really like sweet potatoes, so they don’t get the excitement.

It is SOOOOOOOOOO good!

We make sweet potatoes several times a week! Of course I don’t put the brown sugar or marshmallows on except for Thanksgiving or Christmas. :verysad:

 But, but, Jan, that’s just wrong!

And Lisa, good for you that your girls don’t like the sweet potatoes–more for you!!! :happydance:

OMG that sounds SOOOOO YUMMMMY! Ill have one of those, and some cobbler from Sandy’s blog! :cheering:

Let’s all get sugar highs and be silly!!! :happydance: :happydance:

Who needs sugar? Not meeee!

Yes BC, I made you 27… Shazam!!

I love me a bake sweet tater! Lonestart has them but I always ask for the cinnamon sugar on the side cause they dump a whole bag on it.
I bake up one or two from time to time more when the weather is cold.
mmmmmmmm

Ok… ya’ll gotta stop doing that… yer’ makin’ me hungry. TRH has GREAT sweet taters. I skip the butter but that’s 'cause of my allergy. Sometimes I git the marshmallow… sometimes i dont. I usually do the carmel though. mmmm… cobbler… that could be yummy… (if its made so i can eat it)

Ok… so here’s the birthday deal in a nutshell…

We went and saw Cars. CARS ROCKED!! That movie is hilarious. We are totally going to buy that movie when it comes out on DVD. After that our neighbors went back to their house to take care of some stuff and my wife and I went over to Wally World to get some digital pics printed, and we did a little shopping. We checked with TRH on their wait time and made loose plans with the neighbors to figure out when we’d meet up and then DW and I went to Borders and hung out there and looked at books… that’s a whole different experience when you arent chasing kids down… or listening to them beg to go play with the train set…etc. We did the call-ahead-get-on-the-wait-list thing. And met the neighbors at the restaurant and only waited for about 15 minutes.

Went home… and DW and I enjoyed each other’s company.

Monday, went to work. got home and i dont know who the hell came up with this idea but… we went (with our same neighbors) to Red Lobster (and celebrated my b-day again). When we went to TRH… they annouced i was 25. At Red Lobster, i was 26. (I’m not sure about this aging process.) Anyway, we spent close to 100 at Red Lobster inlcuding a very nice tip. Our neighbors spent about the same amount. Yeah… $200 for four people. OOF.

Anyway… so that’s it. I got to talk with my kids on Sunday which was nice. They were distracted… watching a movie at the time. But they were having fun it seems so that was good to find out.

It’s been another busy week so hoping to get on here later to catch up on the rest of the blogs, etc. We’ll see…

:roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard:

Nice name change… lol

Ok… now I’ve not only had my blog thread-napped… now it’s even been ModTitleNapped.

:roflhard:

Nothing but the best for our Joely!

Went home… and DW and I enjoyed each other’s company

You gotta visit KK’s blog to find out if you did…

Hi, Joel!

Jan mentioned using Dreamweaver in another blog and I was wondering if there was an open source equivalent? or something close enough?

I’m taking a Dreamweaver class in August and I’d love to be able to have a personal copy to play with.

Thanks!

Hi Lisa,

I think DreamWeaver has a trial version that you can use for 30 days. However if you are wanting to look at other options as well… check out this page. It also depends on your operating system… most of these are still Windows based, if you are looking for Linux… well that’s a different link.

Cnet usually has a good selection. I’ve not tried any of these so I don’t know how good they are…

Hopefully, I’ll get a minute to hop on here tonight and do some more posting to people’s blogs.

Thanks, Joely!

I’ll check those out later on.

You’re the dude!

sweet potatos with cinnamon sugar???

I’d say more cinnamon than sugar… way more. I don’t mind cinnamon, but i don’t like it like Gummy Cinnamon Bear tasting (BTW, I hate cinnamon bears, atomic fireballs, etc. bleh)
