Joel-n-Liliyarn Show: Awesome visitors & Ravelry!

Too each their own…

I left Macs years ago, in part for the sheer cost of those computers. Additionally, their tech support is some of the worst I’ve ever dealt with. They had no clue what they were doing.

That said… that’s why I want to switch to Linux. Microsoft produces a more expensive, inferior product. It’s why they are losing their market. (MS losts 200 Mill in revenues last year alone verses the prior year.) The newer Mac OS’s are based on UNIX… the same platform that Linux was originally based on.

Plus, Linux is a LOT cheaper than the Macs and can run more stuff.

This is as bad as the WoW talk!

I’d love to see that exhibit, though. Glad you got to have a bit of a break, Joel!

LOL

Me too… me too.

Yes well, I have had a mac laptop for seven years now and have never needed tech support. I guess that’s the difference for me!

Price is way comparable now, by the way~

That exhibit looks so cool–glad you had a great time! Too bad you couldn’t take photos inside…I really wanted to see some!

Made by pirates? Argh!!

This is the best I can do for that request… it was outside the actual exhibit but gives you the idea.

No, that’s NOT a 3 headed camel… lol

And outside the museum…

Oh my God, Joel! DW is a beautiful woman! So pretty that I was able to block out the horrifying image behind her.

:roflhard:

What KK hears:

Blah blah blah computers Blah blah blah windows Blah blah blah beautiful wife in front of 3-headed camel blah blah.

LOVE the new siggy, Joely! I think you forgot the couple that I added in someone else’s blog yesterday… :frowning:

Uh KK, I added “sleepyman”… what else did you add?

Lookey HERE. I think it should go BEFORE Louise…

I got it added! I do remember seeing that post too… don’t know why i forgot to add it.

Oh… and Sorry KK, too many people use “Joely Louise”.

ooooh, that exhibit sounds gnarly! I’d like to see it. pretty sure Dyl and J would be into it too.

But Joely Schmoley Louise sounds better… who says they cant call you Joely Louise for SHORT?

(I just LOVE men who do whatever I ask of them!! :cheering: )

I love men who are secure enough in their masculity to actually use that name and have it written in their knitting blog! :cheering: :roflhard:

alright alright… I’ll change it…

LOL

I’ve been hesitating making this post…

We’re going to see CARS at the theater tomorrow for my birthday (Yes, that is also Father’s Day) which seems a little wierd to me as my kids are still in CA with my in-laws.

But honestly, we don’t have anything else planned. I’m turning 37, what do you expect? My next two major birthdays are going to be for my mid-life crisis (if i decide to have one…) and retirement… (which the way my jobs have gone will be never).

I suspect my wife and friends want to do something but they’re kind of leaving the decision up to me, I think.

Any ideas?

Are you asking if you should go see Cars? Heck, yeah! It looks funny.

Should you celebrate your birthday? Heck, yeah! Eat cake with two fists!! Let them spoil you! We would if we were there!

Happy Birthday, Joely Louise!!! :balloons:
