I will post some pictures as soon as i finish some. I am hoping to make a lot of them so i’ll keep you people updated with pictures! I live in Minnesota and I know a lot of people that don’t belong to this site that i have gotten to join in and help out the cause. Ya…This’ll be fun. Most of my friends can only garter stitch but I will teach them! It will come! Us teens need to get more involved.
Hi there cap knitters! :waving:
Holly - for you, I’ll make sure I eat enough chocolate for you and me both! :teehee: So glad your knitting brought you some breathing time!
Jan! - :thud: I am loving your work on these so far! I’ll have to check the previous posts and adjust our total UP UP UP :cheering:
taking_back_knitting I’m digging that attitude! We love to have anyone contribute to something like this!
mmm chocolate… Oh wait that’s not what I came here to post :teehee:
I just finished # 3. I need to get some girly yarn since all of the three I have made so far have been different hues of blue.
Jan those are great! You’re right knitting them in the round is the way to go. They are so fast and easy!
I only have girly yarns so I think it’ll balance out…unless you need to do it for a change of scenery. :teehee:
Thanks!
Nice work, Holly!!
I need to get #2 going after I get home. Seems like these are nice in between projects, as in, in between something else that may be giving me a headache to knit :wall:
May your weekend be fiberful and lovely everyone!!! Next week, I’ll post pictures on my KH blog from our trip.
Until then -

Put me down for 2 more. I don’t think I’ll be able to do much more until around Thanksgiving or so.
Great job, everybody!!
Here’s all 12 hats and just the simple fair isle ones. They are so easy and quick! All done on DPNs
wow jan, you’re a machine!!!
Is she ever! And she got all fancy with it, too! :happydance:
:teehee: Thanks! They are so easy! Besides girls I am retired so it’s easier to get stuff done. :happydance:
I haven’t had a chance to read the whole KAL, but I just finished one @ piano lessons today …
I hope I can get some more of these done before January!! :yay: They are quick!
Wow, Jan!!! Beautiful…
Here are mine. Mom didn’t have “baby” colors in her leftover yarn stash, so they are a little dark. Please add these 6 to the count.
I almost forgot. I wanted to post a link to a whole slew of preemie hat patterns. Right here – some are knit; some are crochet. All should be sized for these wee babies.
Do you think they’d accept some from Barbados? Not sure if this is a US citizen only thing
I don’t think it matters where they are from. They just have to be sent to the capitol. Anyone know for sure? :??
