Hi everyone!
I have been trying to post more, but sometimes I just get too busy. Shame on me, I know!
Gina-
I hate feeling that way.
Hopefully your thyroid specialist will find a solution.
Julie- Your date night sounded fabulous! And very yummy. To answer your question, our economy sucks right now too. They are laying people off all over the place and it’s really scary. I’m trying to find a new job and meanwhile I’m lucky to have any job. I hope this doesn’t last too long!
Sue- Great pictures! The snow sure is pretty, isn’t it? And what a gorgeous picture of the cardinal.
Dustina- GORGEOUS mittens, oh my gosh! How long does it take you to knit a pair? Oh, and I agree about all the $$$ spent on the inauguration- even though I’m not American!
Carla- I love knitting dishcloths too. Such a quick fix. What are some of your favourite patterns?
Debbie- I love knitting dishcloths too. Actually, that’s mostly what I made when I first started knitting. It’s still one of my favourite ways to try out a stitch pattern.
Christine- Hope you and the DH are both feeling better.
How are his socks coming along? What yarn are you using?
Lieke- Those socks are amazing! I love the colours and the stitch pattern. So cool.
Karina- LOVE that blanket! Such great colours in it. Maisey looks so cute all cuddled up.
Carey- How was the inauguration? That’s too bad about your dryer not working…hopefully it will be a cheap fix.
Today I cleaned, continued to tackle the laundry monster, had a driving lesson and watched The Tudors while knitting on Josh’s socks.
I finished a sock yesterday, but I don’t have any good pictures because when I went to open the back door to take a “sock in the snow” picture, the back door was frozen shut. I’ll get a good picture soon.
**Cat owners- Have you tried honeysuckle cat toys? Lucy doesn’t react to catnip at all, but we got her a honeysuckle mouse and she loves it! I’ve never even heard of it, but they had a few different toys with it at the store.
The following is a terrible picture of the snow outside and the icicles on the roof, but I thought you guys might like it anyways. Since I can’t open the back door, I had to take it through the window. When I was little I loved seeing how high the snow got on the tables etc. outside. It’s a good foot at least. The icicles are harder to see, but they’re as long at 2 feet in some points.
