I scrolled through this whole thread, and didn’t find me mentioning using baby yarn. I usually use worsted, aran, or chunky.
@Victorianera Maybe it was the pattern instead of the yarn!
I finished my granddaughter’s socks. Turned out ok. Could have been better. But she’s excited to wear them so that’s what counts. I’ve been trying to upload picture but keeps saying error. I’ve cropped as close as I can to image of sock without luck. I’ve not had an issue doing this before so don’t know what problem is. Maybe just a glitch.

Give it another try and wait to make sure the uploading is complete just in case.
I think sometimes my photo files are bigger depending on the light and how close i was to the knitting (i might take 2 or 3 and keep the smallest file). Most pics upload for me but not all. I have a thing in my photo editing which can resize to a smaller file (not croppng the picture). On mine it’s edit then there are three dots to open more options and then resize options.
There are some free apps which will do it too.
I just changed the size of this which i couldn’t post yesterday.
