Looks fab! Worth the pulling out and reworking.
Beautiful leaves and colours too.
I started knitting a few weeks ago and have made a couple of stars.
and now I’m hooked. I took my new project on a girly weekend last week and my friends, at times, said I was being unsociableI’m now on to a cardigan and you’ve helped me a great deal already - I’ll be posting a new “help please” post, shortly.
Have a great weekend.
These are lovely stars ![]()
Knitting is a bit unsociable but most people have some sort of thing they do which is unsociable - some are more productive than others.
I love those! Do you have a link to the pattern?
I think of small projects like these as “social knitting.” You’re hands are busy and you can take part in conversations or play endless games like Shutes and Ladders with your 4-year old.
Love the stars!

I agree that simple, mindless knits work best for social knitting.
I used to be part of a weekly knitting group that I actually adored. Not only was it informational as well as educational, but it was a social happening where everyone became a friend. I do miss it since the owner of the shop moved out of state.
So sorry for the delay with sharing a link to the pattern for the stars I knotted…
It’s free here - https://www.garnstudio.com/pattern.php?id=3938&cid=19
Enjoy x
Thank you very much, DinkyTin!
