VICSTORIA (Victoise returns)

:cheering: :waving: :cheering: :waving: :cheering: :waving: :cheering:

OMG I dont think Ive ever SEEN such a haul for $100!!! :inlove:

Ok, thought I should do a little creating in my new blog.

So I’m going to do it through pictures. Things I Made A Long Time Ago
(last year) and Things I Made Recently.

This was one of my first cute things:

Blue socks that still aren’t finished (one two to be sewn up and I ignore it)

Okay here’s what I’ve decided!

I’m going to read one blog a day and try and catch up on all these great personalities and pix and pursuits and

I’m going to post pix of all my finished witknits.

Then I can see what I’ve accomplished esp when I’m feeling like I’ve not accomplished much. ha

Oh! and I resurrected a blog at blogspot that I started actually about the time I first started hanging out here. It’s so darn easy to post pix…
funny the first blog on that blog was in response to Amy and her having to put her dog down. That was upsetting esp since I worry about my baby of 11 years old (cat not dog).

Here she is:

(okay I have to learn this pixel size thing) And post the pix of my finished knitting but we’ll start here.

!!

What a cute kitty!!!

Ok. Here is the beginning of my finished knits.

And I think I forgot the BIG THANK YOU to Amy for letting me do all this and teaching me somuch.

                            THANKS AMY

If some pix are too big
I’ll figure that out as I go!

Whew that was a lot of work!

thanks Jan, yeah she is! Bit mean sometimes but…

wait til you see Paolo, my little guy.

Oh what the heck here he is:

:roflhard: :roflhard: Why is the toy on his um…crotch! :roflhard:

Glad you liked it!!! Ok, do ya wanna see the before picture when his little mouse WASN’T there???

:roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard:

The furbabies are beautiful! (And pretty funny…that Paolo and his, erm…“mousie”!)

Your work is just lovely, Victoise! :inlove: :inlove:

Re resurrecting your off-forum blong: are you in the KH webring now?

Ummm…maybe not! :roflhard:

Very cute kitties and great FOs!! :cheering:

Your knitting looks lovely! Great yarn, too!

Your first cat reminds me of my Kitty, who died at 21. She will always be my favorite.

Maybe the other cat likes to ‘pretend’ giving birth? :rofling:

That poor mouse… it looks so … violated!! :roflhard: :roflhard:
and OMG - - YARN

 makes me remember why the term ‘yarngasm’ was coined… :roflhard:

So nice to see you hanging with us again, Vic!!

:waving: :waving: :waving: :waving: :waving:

Thanks for the compliments!!!

Rebecca, I’ve always been hanging out, just never got around to doing the blog thingy. Well, I denied myself it, I do that sometimes it’s weird. But I’m glad I’m blogging now!

Angelia, I don’t know about the webring, I just haven’t gone there yet , there’s so much to read! And then my poor knitting is sitting there waiting!
Will check it out.

Oh boy Ingrid, you were lucky with that cat, 21 years! That's a blessing. My baby will never make it that long. She's only 11 and coughing sometimes. I had to put her on these pills but thank god, she stopped coughing, only does it once in awhile now. They were steriods and I didn't want her on those. (she's snoring in her basket right now, it's so relaxing to listen to her)

yargasm heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee he he

:rofling:

Tuesday morning. It’s 6 degrees out, no wait, it’s warmed up to 11.

I’m up in the mountains Catskills instead of the city and there are wild turkeys all over and it’s too too cold to even go for a quick walk…

so I’m sitting here looking at these pix instead:

Hi! I was at this yarn shop a couple weeks ago… well you saw the stash I got there and I thought I’d post this website so you could see some of her incredible patterns. They’re so feminine, ethereal and gorgeous.

Check the yarns out too!

Oops I posted that already! Well, not the patterns page so I’ll just leave it!

That’s ok, Vic, those designs are worth looking at twice…

Thanks for the pics of FL… I just got pouted at by our friends/neighbors from FL for about 15 minutes this morning because I refuse to consider moving back there… now I’m looking at the snow in my backyard, and back at your pics, and wondering what the he!! is wrong with me…

:roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard:

Well,

  1. It’s not always easy to get to the beach, or to even live near the beach
  2. The good times to go to the beach are also when tourists are there
  3. The sand, the sand–everywhere!
  4. The high humidity that makes one long for death
  5. No seasons, just less heat, then more heat
  6. Wool is pretty much out of the question

Those are the reasons why I would never live in FL

Visiting, however, is quite nice!

That’s HILARIOUS Angelia. Yup. Here’s a few more:

  1. TOO MANY DAMN CARS
  2. Melanoma.
  3. TOO MANY HOOTERS.
  4. Air conditioning.
  5. TOO MANY PEOPLE WITH BIG BOATS
  6. Violence, mayhem & murder.
  7. Wool is not acceptable.

Ok. I’ll stop. I could go on ranting about how awful Florida is but I just remembered my times in the Keys, oh geez… nowhere can you find a fresh grouper sandwich like that. Then there’s the sunsets, the shells, swimming in the blue blue sea…

Hm.

Love your Florida pics. It was -8 this morning at my house. I don’t think I could live in Florida either, or any place that nice. I would have the hardest time getting up and going to work!
