Toy KAL (Knit or Crochet)

Grandmaknits - I love the idea of the voice recorder! “Grandma loves Lexie”… in a handmade toy, would be something she would cherish always!! :inlove:

I’ve ordered the Alan Dart book, and will have many, many toys to work on when it comes!

Shandeh asked --If anyone wants to make a button for our KAL, go right ahead. I’m not having any luck with this one.
Here’s a button for you toy KAL’s if you want it :teehee: Just click on it and save to desk top.

Thanks Julie! :muah:

Your welcome!!! Anytime:teehee:

I just saved your button to my Flickr account.

Here’s the link:

I also made a smaller one, with the lid of the toybox cut off.

This one is even smaller:

Thank you Lynn, the recorder came in today, so now I need to get busy!

A lot of mistakes along the way, and I could really use some tips on how to make those eyes the same size, but I am happy with my first try. I did put the little recorder in the back, and I think it is going to work great. I really had a lot of fun with this, and am already planning on another doll, this time a Jean Greenhowe Clown. Please wish me luck…:happydance:

It’s perfect! Wonderful job! :notworthy:

I love your Hunny Bunny!

Hunny Bunny is so cute love the idea of the recorder.

Beautiful honey bunny. You did a lovely job.
The eyes take practice . The more you do them the better you will get at them

Thank you! I think you have started something, because I have already picked my next doll project. I didn’t realize there are so many cute ones out there. My favorite at the moment is the Jean Greenhowe clown with the primary colored handprints on his overhauls…SO cute! I have another couple of things to finish up, and then I am going to start him.

Toys are addictive lol . i have yet to make any clowns as i just do not like clowns lol .
But ican assure you that there are so many cute ones out there.
Alan Dart ,Jean Greenhowe, Aussie Jean and Yvonne boucher to mention a few designers .
