Toy KAL (Knit or Crochet)

Lynn your hedgehogs are so cute.

I have to agree, they did turn out nicely (the hedgehogs). They were very, very fiddly though!

I’m heading out to the pool again this afternoon, I might just bring some yellow & black yarn for when I’m done swimming but the kids aren’t finished yet. Can you guess what else off that page (I origionally posted) I’m going to do?
:teehee:

I have a great replacement! Who will probably do a better job, too! :teehee:

Hiya Braden! :woohoo:
It’s nice to hear from you again.

And, I’m not really a replacement…just filling in for this month.

Even though the month is more than half over, can I join? I’ve got 90% of a rabbit done using stash partial skeins (Forgot the navy yarn so he’s not going to be compleated 'till next weekend when I go home) and I’m about to start the first of 3 bears I want to get done.
FV

Of course you can join!
I’m just getting started on my toy now! :teehee:

I guess I can join you too! I have a bunch of toys on my “to do” list. This would be a great way to start.
All those toys are so adorable!

Of course you can join, Lestrella!

By the way, thanks so much for knitting part of one of the Oddball Preemie Blankets yesterday.

Hi Everyone ,

Here is my attempt at a Dr Who doll based on the character played by David Tennant.
He is part Alan Dart Pirate and then i used ammendments from a lady on Ravelry to make him into Dr Who .

Thanks CherryRed:)

WOW you are quick. He looks great, love his trainers.

Have you seen the new simply knitting mag with the Cowboy.

Hi karina ,
Thanks . I can be quite quick when i set my mind to it .
I have seen the Cowboy but i do not think i will be making him as i have noone to give him too.
My son does not like cowboys . I will be making another Dr Who for him soon though .

Wow, Dr. Who looks fantastic!

I finished mama bee…

and am working on baby bee in yellow/brown.

Wow! You all are doing excellent work!

Love the Dr Who doll. I would like to dress him in a business suit and make him a hat. :teehee:

I have no knitted toys left…

my eldest daughter (17) came by and stole the hedgehogs and the mama bee! :roflhard:

She told me I “could make more if I wanted to”

:knitting: :knitting: :knitting:

So, I have a baby bee to finish, then I might have to do the hedgehogs again… considering my son claimed them first, and then my eldest daughter talked him into giving them to him…

Hahahahaha Lynne . This is one of the downfalls of making toys when you got kids . You never get to keep them long
Love the bee:) bzzzzzzzz

Thanks everyone .
:yay:

:roflhard:

Kids these days.

Baby hedgehog #2

Hopefully it’s sunny & hot out tomorrow, so I can finish mama bee and mama hedgehog by the pool.

Girl, you are FAST!!

how cute !! love the hedgie , so sweet:)

hahaha! although the ‘fur’ portion of this toy is fiddly, it’s a really quick knit. I’m hoping to have mama done by tonight! (about 1 hour of knitting all together is all a hedgehog takes)

:aww:
