I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the lime and violet knit up into a pattern, but it’s turning out to be pretty cool. I think the Monkeys can handle a bit of variegation after all. It’s going to be difficult to part with them. Of course, they’re too big for me, so I wouldn’t be able to wear them anyway :shrug: :teehee:
I started plain ol’ ribbed socks with my L & V yarn when I was at your house, Vendie, and I got bored with them, and only have about 3 inches of the first leg done. I’m really liking the Monkey socks in that colourway, and might have to knit me a pair. I can’t wait to see a picture of them on somebody’s feet. I want to see how the pattern shapes over a foot.
Yesterday, I wore my swap socks that KellyK sent me, and they were sooo nice and warm! Thank you again, KK!!!

I’ve tried to take a teaser pic, but they never come out doing it justice…maybe I’ll try again tomorrow, outside. They’re preeeeetty!! 
Everyone’s socks look great! I’m on the foot portion of the 2nd sock (being done with a “Princess” sole I think someone called it, so it’s taking a little longer with having to do the purl rows! Oh I’ve learned so much knitting these socks!). I should be able to get a lot of knitting done this weekend, esp Sunday :happydance: I’m hoping to finish sometime next week and get them in the mail.
