I just finished a round ripple for my neighbor. I just used some Caron One Pounder in off white color.

I’m working on a very basic shrug at the moment. Actually, it’s finished by way of the pattern, but I would like to give it a cleaner edge.
It’s made from Red Hearts mohair blend “Symphony” and is as light as a feather.
Any thoughts on a finish that won’t take away from the airyness of the piece…I was thinking something decorative like a Picot, but it’s a little tricky with the fuzzy nature of this yarn. It’s texturally
treacherous when trying to correct a mistake. (knotting of the “have to cut it” kind!) and I’d hate to ruin the effort no matter how small.
Sigh, :think:, maybe I should I just let it be the simple piece that it is and finish with a basic SC…?

I started a round ripple for my niece’s baby shower. I showed my progress so far to her mother (my sister) and her only comment was, “Why would the baby need a giant doily?!” I refuse to e-mail her back!!!

I just started on Happy Hooker’s Violet Beauregard using Shine Sport. Have only done a few rounds so far.
here is my Old World Santa I am almost finished with and I’m still working on this…Strawberry Shortcake afghan…I haven’t been able to find lt.peach so I placed an order yesterday so I could get started on cross stitching the doll…I have the book to crochet the matching doll too…but again needed the lt.peach…couldn’t find it around my area at any of the stores…can’t wait for my order to come in…It’s for my gd.

That is not a snowman… LOL that is an old world SANTA… but thank you for you nice comment anyway…waiting on the yarn I just order to get started on Angel cake…she is the one in blue bibs. that is the one my granddaughter wanted, and I will crochet all the dolls for her…I only have two granddaughters, so I will make one for her too…
OmG! I can’t believe that after looking at the pic like 50 times before I commented you, I actually wrote “snowman” instead of “Santa Clause”!!! Ah geeze! lol. :doh::rofling:
