No problem! It is delicious. :inlove: DH and I double the crust–it’s very cakey and light, and we like that very much! (With extra butter, of course… :shifty: )

OMG, that sounds so EASY! YUM!!! Now to go home & see what fruit DH bought…

For all you music lovers, here’s a midi file I made last night.
(removed by Sandy, cause it didn’t work!)

It’s Debussy’s “First Arabesque” on my keyboard at home. My husband gave it to me a couple years ago, and I’m still learning to do midi stuff.

I made a couple mistakes, but decided to go ahead and let it go.

I hope you enjoy listening!

That link didnt work for me, Sandy. :frowning:

Me either. :frowning:

I can’t wait to hear it, though–I love Debussy!!! :inlove: :inlove:

Man! That link keeps changing. Bummer! Try this:

(removed by Sandy)

I just made a group in yahoo where you can join and listen to my files. I’ll be adding more as time goes on.

(Removed by Sandy)

The Debussy piece is on that page under “Files”. You’ll have to join to listen. Bummer! :frowning:

It works!!! I’m listening right now!!! “Arabesque” is one of my most favorite pieces of music EVER! I listen to it in my office almost every day. And you do such a lovely interpretation of it–I love your pacing; you capture the bittersweetness so well!!

Fantastic, Sandy!!! :cheering: :cheering: :cheering:

OMG! That is just like the cobbler recipe I use. Every time I give it away, I caution the recipient to make sure that they use SELF-RISING flour. And they always use regular flour the first time. Of course they come back to me with: :??

 MAKE SURE IT’S SELF-RISING! (You can make your own.)

Yep, you can make your own if you don’t have any on hand. Bisquick works, too, but isn’t quite as tasty.

Wow! Thanks, Angelia. You make me such a proud pianist!

I’m still having trouble keeping that link working. I think I’m gonna have to put it on my website instead. I’ll try to figure it out tonight. In the meantime, I’ll keep recording more midi files, and I’ll let you know when they’re ready.

Yippee! I finally got my music listening files set up right now.

I put them on my webpage, so now you can listen to them whenever you want, without having to join a club.

Tonight, I recorded 5 pieces. I’ll keep working on it, and get the page full of all KINDS of stuff! I’m having fun with that keyboard now. :happydance:

Today was a day invested in piano and music. I went to Brodts, our local music store, and spent about an hour choosing some piano music for church. I ended up charging about 90 dollars on the church account, but I got enough music to last for about 100 Sundays, so I think I did pretty good!

After that, I went to perform keyboard accompaniment for our church’s gospel quartet, “The Memorials”. They are a fun group. We practice every week, and perform about 10 times a year. They sometimes surprise me with a monetary gift, so they treat me very well.

The concert was for the American Business Women’s Association in Charlotte, NC.

Dont YOU look all fancy and doo-died up!!

Listen to ya! I think I look like a munchkin beside those guys! :stuck_out_tongue:

You look lovely, Sandy! Everyone has such cheery smiles!

Oooh, what fun! You do look like a munchkin, I suppose, but they look like big men anyway! And munchkin or not, you look fabulous, dahling!

You guys look great! I bet ya’ll sound fabulous.

Great picture! You look so happy!

Thanks guys. We did have a lot of fun, and the crowd really enjoyed the concert. I look short beside them, because I AM short. I’m 5’3" tall.

Funny thing, my husband is over 6 feet. Whenever I ask him, “Why do you love me so much?”, he replies, “Because you’re short.” He’s so silly.
