OT: Endo surgery...UPDATE!

Hope the pain lessens soon and that you feel better!

Oh I am so glad everything went well. Sorry you are in pain, make sure you take the pain relief pills. You shouldnt be in pain if you take the right stuff. I know I am in pain everyday but if the right meds are taken it goes away (or makes it bearable) please dont suffer

Let us know how the recovery goes. Stay in bed and be waited on :teehee:

:muah: Sharon and a gentle hug.

Thank you everyone :muah: Today I’m feeling much better. I’m walking quite a bit more erect! I even shaved in the shower. :woohoo:

I’m wearing my ‘mother’ pajamas. It’s a nightgown so nothing touches my tummy. :teehee: I never wear these, they were a gift and now they have come in quite handy.

I’m so glad I had this done, even though it hurts like a mother…at least I should be pain free or less pain free for maybe 6 months to a year?? Here’s hoping.

My hubby has been soooo wonderful. Taking care of everything, bringing me food at 3 in the morning so I can take my meds. What a sweetie.

I’ll see ya later…

I’m so happy to hear that surgery went well :cheering: I’ve been praying for you, and will certainly continue to do so  Sorry about the pain, but that will lessen as time goes on, praise God! I hope and pray that this surgery is 100% successful and you will be pain free for a great long time :cheering:

Glad you’re feeling better! :cheering: I’m way overdue for something similar due to fibroids. I’ve been putting it off for years. and every month I say no more but somehow I keep chugging on. Hopefully you’ll be sympton free and back to health soon!

I’m so glad that everything went well and that you are on the road to recovery!

Gentle hugs, feel better soon
Nikki

I hope and pray that you have a speedy recovery. Best Wishes, Jeremy

    glad to hear it went well - hope you recover well and fast and here’s to 6mos - 1 year of pain free time =D :muah:

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woot: :woot:

I’m behind on this post, as usual

I’m glad to hear your surgery went well! Did they remove your appendix since it had endo on it? Mine actually went “bad” when I was 16 (I’m 24 now) and now looking back, I really believe it was the endo that caused it to go bad and that was the start of all my problems. I wish I would of had an autopsy done on it now.

Endo can grow anywhere in the body. I know ladies that have it on their diaphram. It’s horrible!

Here is a link to a website that I belong to that might be of interest to you!
http://groups.msn.com/EndoFaeries You will need to join the group, but these ladies are wonderful and can answer any questions you might have or just be there as support

If you ever have any questions or need to vent, feel free to email me or whatever. I haven’t had a surgery since 2002 and my endo is now back, not as bad as it once was, but it’s back. My son just turned 2 on the 11th, so I’m greatful for all the time I did have where I didn’t hurt!

big hugs to you

~danielle~

No, she didn’t remove it, she came in the recovery room for a couple of minutes, but I was too groggy and OOOhhhhhhh sooo sleepy. :teehee:

I have my post-op on the 4th, next wednesday I believe and I’ll get to see the pictures and ask her about that. From what I remember and what my hubby heard I had it in 3 places she couldn’t remove. One of them being my appendix.

I did think about that too, removing my appendix I mean. I’ll have to ask how bad it was and if it’ll end up having to come out. We’ll see I guess.

I have read that it can grow anywhere, but that just seems wrong that the body allows that! Rude!!

Thank you for your well wishes.
