Oddball Preemie Blankets - Our Blankets were DELIVERED!

Today, I received the pretty, completed “Pink Princess” blanket from gmmarton!

She included some yarn and a sweet notepad for me as well!

This is our first completed preemie blanket!

How much yarn makes 4 inches? I’m a new knitter so I don’t have a big stash (yet) and I want to make sure what I do have is enough.

i used about 1/2 a 50 gm ball of yarn depends on your style of knitting

I received Angle Hugs from DQ today, was a bit worried because it has been in transit for nearly a week, normally only takes 1-2 days. But we both relieved that it turned up safe and sound.

DQ remembered that I had inquired about the Peaches and Creme cotton and sent me a ball of it. I am thrilled to bits with it and can’t wait to make some wash cloths for my kids with it.

I have finally gotten my act together and finished my part on the Easter Bonnet blanket:

I used a double moss stitch pattern, close-up here:

The yarn is TLC Baby in a pastel varigated colorway. It looks much prettier in real life than in the photos.

I will be posting this to gmmarton on Monday morning (I already have her address). Sorry it took me so long to finish!
