How much yarn makes 4 inches? I’m a new knitter so I don’t have a big stash (yet) and I want to make sure what I do have is enough.
Thanks
tina
i used about 1/2 a 50 gm ball of yarn depends on your style of knitting
Oh, Pink Princess turned out lovely! Nice job, ladies!
Beautiful blanket! Some lucky kiddo will be nice and warm because of all of us!

Very true…
I’ve been able to use one skein of Caron Simply Soft on about 4 blankets now! :teehee:
I received Angle Hugs from DQ today, was a bit worried because it has been in transit for nearly a week, normally only takes 1-2 days. But we both relieved that it turned up safe and sound.
DQ remembered that I had inquired about the Peaches and Creme cotton and sent me a ball of it. I am thrilled to bits with it and can’t wait to make some wash cloths for my kids with it.
Thank you so much Jen.
I have received Sweethearts from Catz this morning and its gorgous.
Thankyou Catz for the yarn and the stitch markers there lovely xxx

Yay! I’m glad one of our England blankets is on the move!
Karina, I’ll be happy to send some more Peaches and Creme yarn to you. I have some skeins that are just sitting in my stash.
Wonderful! ANOTHER blanket is on the move in England! :cheering:
You’re next after jjminarcik on the “Beach Party” blanket.
“Summer Blossoms” is ready for the next knitter.
Yea!!! That would be me!!!
Pretty
Absolutely adorable!!
that blanket is adorable!!
I have finally gotten my act together and finished my part on the Easter Bonnet blanket:
I used a double moss stitch pattern, close-up here:
The yarn is TLC Baby in a pastel varigated colorway. It looks much prettier in real life than in the photos.
I will be posting this to gmmarton on Monday morning (I already have her address). Sorry it took me so long to finish!
