I will wait until the blanket gets to me to decide on a color, but I will probably use Simply Soft also.
Are y’all still taking any knitters for this? I want in! I have some Caron SS in 3 diff colors, just sitting around, and would love to use it on something like this. Let me know, and I will PM my addy to get on the list.
We’re still taking “pinch knitters”, who will cover for knitters that cannot do their portion. Also, I’m keeping the extra knitters on file for our next blanket.
So, go ahead and PM your mailing address to me if you want to be part of the project.

I think it looks great too–I can’t wait to see all of the great colors that everyone picks!! I have no idea what I’ll use–probably some left over wool-ease that I have laying around or either some Caron SS. Most of my acrylic is baby colors and I’d like to stay away from baby colors if I can…oh heck…I guess it’ll just depend on what “feels right” when the blanket gets down here to me!
I’m checking with lestrella now to see if she is open to making our get-together a fivesome instead of a twosome. :teehee:
By the way, the blanket looks AMAZING!!! It’s funny…When I was working on the blanket, I was imagining that red or burgundy would look really nice beside that gray. You must have read my mind!

it was less than half a skein of caron simply soft. let me know if you need some yarn, i have css if quite a few colors. see you tuesday if nothing changes!

It looks very good!!! While I don’t have a yarnbaby of my own, I have a nextdoor yarn baby. He had to be given his own skein so he wouldn’t try to eat mine when I am visiting.
