Oh, the log cabin is going to be gorgeous. What yarn are you using?
Socks look good too, great color combination and nice heel.
Love the log cabin square! Socks look great, too!
All the yarn in the log cabin is actually acyrlics, some Caron simply soft, some Caron cakes, some other variegated yarns that I forget the name of. The green on the socks isnāt reading well, itās a hunter green and the first animal fiber Iāve ever knit with. I love it!
I really like your log cabin, it will be stunning.
I wish I had more patience for socks next years challenge perhaps, complete a pair of useable socks lol
Thank you !
More hats done. Plymouth Encore worsted for both. Helix single row stripes and this is the pattern for the gray/burgundy one. I like the one on the pattern better than mine. My color choice wasnāt the best. Ravelry: Mollie Mae pattern by Claire Slade
Iāve started making mini stockings. I think Iāll hang them on the tree with gift cards for the kids. More to come. Hereās a link to the pattern. This one is my own pattern and be aware itās not as perfectly written as some. I wrote it not too long after I learned to knit. If you try it feel free to ask questions.
Notknittingknots, it looks like the beginning of something wonderful! What are you making?
Jan, I like to colors. The hats look so cheery and warm, and the mini-stockings are adorable!
I like both hats but I particularly love the grey and burgundy.I think they go very well together and with the zig zag pattern.I love it!! Your mini stockings are too cute
Itās the beginning of the āCable Loverās Pulloverā pattern by Cascade Yarns. It doesnāt have brilliant reviews on rav but Iām keeping my fingers crossed that all will proceed uneventfully
Iām making it for my son so Iāll have to make some small adjustments to the sizing as itās a womanās pattern, but I think itās bold cable patterns can work as unisex. What do you think?

Oh, I like it! Iām a fan of cables and aran patterns anyway, and this is a particularly good looking one. I see it as definitely unisex.
Phew! thatās a relief to hear(read)
I think that will work fine for your son! Itās a good looking sweater!
Welcome, @sonyal , how are the fingerless gloves coming? I hope you got the help you needed on them.
@shadowfox118, congrats on turning the heel of your first sock! Isnāt it a thrill?? And DPNs too! Good for you!
@Bluejaygirl5, that is so touching about your mother, and your knitting for others in her honor. Iām going to remember that.
@notknittingknots, wow! So many gorgeous projects! I remember thinking your To Do list seemed next to impossible, but at the rate youāre going, I realize you are certainly an exceptionally productive knitter. Itās fun to see all of your gorgeous projects!
@Jan_in_CA, nice hats and mini stockings! and of course the pumpkins are completely adorable, if I havenāt said that already!
I have a list of projects to share, but was having issues uploading pics with my phone mid-month. Seemed to work fine for my Thanksgiving photos, so Iāll try again soon.
Itās my second sock actually and Iām getting close to the heel flap of my 3rd sock
@shadowfox118 you have 3 feet?
My first sock was more of a test knit, I decided against making a second of that yarn
My hubby is an adaptive ski instructor over the winter so I knit him a beard !
I love it!
