Three blankets were mailed off to the next knitters on Tuesday:
Fruit Punch

Tiny Dancer

Thank you, sandycloset, for the beautiful work you did on Cupcakes and It’s a Girl. I received both of them this morning. :yay: :yay: :yay:

I will add then to the pile of completed worsted weight blankets and photograph them this weekend.

Spikey, I got Junebug in the this morning’s mail. I can’t wait to work on it this weekend.

I received two blankets from knittinginhudson this morning. Dogwood has all the colors of the dogwood tree that blossoms here in southern CT in May. I can’t wait to work on the border of Dogwood this weekend. It will be great to add it to our completed blanket pile for delivery to Bridgeport Hospital.

I also received Confetti, an Oddball preemie baby blanket.

Thank you for the gift card, knittinginhudson…I love Dunkin’ Donuts coffee! :muah: :muah: :muah:

The DK weight blanket bloghas been updated, with new pics, new blankets (with openings for knitters and crocheters), and updated progress.

I sent out Under the Sea (ww) this morning. It’s on it’s way to Vermont.

Here’s a pic of the completed Spearmint Candy

and one of Spumoni

I am starting a worsted weight blanket called Surf and Sand. I was thinking it is the summer after all, and some in the group have found their way to the ocean. Why not a baby blanket that celebrates the ocean?

This blanket will be worked on a size 8, 110 stitches in blues, taupe and whites.

Please let me know if you are interested in working on this newest worsted weight blanket, Surf and Sand.

Thanks, everyone! :muah: :muah: :muah:

JuneBug, one of our newest preemie blankets, was posted yesterday to missyjoon.

Here’s the latest photo…

Here’s the latest of JuneBug, a preemie blanket…

Dots, another preemie baby blanket, is currently on hold while the next (and last) knitter is on vacation.

Confetti, the third preemie blanket I worked on over the weekend, is on its way to mdc550 for its border. Then off to Spikey for distribution.

Thank you, stevedallas, for the great work on It’s a Boy! I picked it up from school today. My principal happened to be there so I showed her the finished product. She especially liked the border!

Thanks again!

Woops! The shot posted above should have been titled Neon Fun and not Neon Fun II is Ready.

Another completed worsted weight baby blanket in this batch is Dogwood, in honor of that beautiful tree that blossoms for all of two weeks during the month of May! This blanket was started in March 2009 and created by:
