Amy, Lisa (Sogrammatical) Jeremy and I met up at Fitzwillie’s restaurant in Northampton this afternoon. I was so glad to meet everyone–as nice in person as on here. We didn’t do too much knitting, lots of chatting, and then off to Webs. Jeremy had gone there first, but joined us afterwards, too. What a place! Just the main part of the store is bigger than any shop I’ve been in, and there’s a warehouse with rows and rows of yarns, coned and bagged. At first I didn’t think I’d leave with much because it was so overwhelming. WRONG!! I won’t be spending any more money on yarn for a while, but I don’t regret anything I bought, which has happened at yarn sales I’ve hit in the past. Here are some pics that I got.
I can’t tell you how glad I am that I went. It took about two hours each way, and the only trouble I had was finding the restaurant. :rollseyes: I would do it again in a heartbeat!!
Yes, Amy passed on your message. Wish you could have been there in person! I will say that there was no drinking, puking or pajamas at our get together!
