Hi all, I am knitting this cardigan and these instructions have stumped me. Can anyone explain. Thanks, I checked the glossary and the web.

Welcome to the forum and to knitting!
When there is a dash (or a 0 or x) for your size in pattern instructions, skip over that instruction and go on to the next instruction. So if you are making the first or third size you woul skip to the (K2,P2) repeat and then move on to finish the rest of the row. If you’re making the second or fourth size, P2 then move on to the (K2,P2) repeat, etc.
What is the name and designer of your pattern?

It’s a handy idea to go through your pattern and mark the instructions for the size you’re doing. I like to circle the number with a pencil, or you can use a highlighter. I use pencil because sometimes I realize I’m working the wrong size, or want to change the size through one section, like the sleeves.
