I just placed an order on Etsy for 20 skeins of hand dyed merino sock yarn for $65! :happydance:

I couldn’t resist ordering the superwash merino when I found out about it a few months ago. I’ve found the yarn a bit splitty, but a great deal none the less. The finished product looks really nice, even with my wide ankles! (see attachment)
I’ve already gotten enough requests off of this one sock to require another order to Julia’s. I may spring for the big pack of 100 balls for $250 when my tax refund arrives. Hard to beat $2.50 a ball for such pretty yarn! My dearest is going to regret the day he made me my very own “crafting” room. :teehee:

I will say this. Everytime she sends a coupon code, she raises her price to cover it. Still a fantastic yarn at a fantastic price. It washes and wears like a dream.
Both of your socks are amazing! I love the yarn but I also love the patterns! Can I ask where you got both patterns? I have been looking for a basic pattern and the heel on your second pair looks really nice.

My pattern is nothing more than a basic sock pattern found all over the internet. Yarn Harlot’s basic sock recipe and others. The heel on mine is eye of partridge.
Row 1: Slip 1,then purl across
Row 2: Slip 1, Knit 1 across
Row 3: Slip 1, then purl across
Row 4: Slip 1, knit 2, slip 1, knit 1 across until last 2 stitches. knit those 2.
And that’s all there is to the heel.
Just to tempt you all, here’s the beginning of my socks, which I’m knitting with yarn from the same seller. I love the yarn, it’s nice and soft and knits like a dream!
