Knitting chart help please 😊.

Hi, would anyone be able to help me read this pattern chart please?
I have basic chart reading ability .
Thank you so much in advance.
Julie.

Welcome to KH!
It looks like a beautiful shawl. What is the name of your pattern?
In general, charts read from bottom to top and begin on the RS (right side) rows in the lower right. Each block represents a stitch technique for example, knit, purl, k2tog, yarn over. In the case of this chart, the WS (wrong side) rows are all purl.
Begin row 7 with a slip stitch (edge stitch), k10, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skpsso, k9, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skpsso. k1, and so on. The repeat should be something like this, the 14 blue-lined blocks:

That gives you 6 repeats and 9 knit sts at the end. I wonder if the pattern says anything about repeats or an edge stitch at the end of row.

Here’s a nice tutorial for chart reading

Also, as @salmonmac mentioned, the 1st row (and all odd number rows) are read right to left. The even number rows are read left to right.

Thank you for sharing link .
Just one ore question what are numbers at top of chart and r/m mean. Thank you.

The numbers at the top of the chart refer to stitch numbers starting on the right after the edge stitch. M is probably short for Stitch or Masche in German and refers to the stitch numbers to the left. R is Row or Reihen in German and refers to the row numbers below.
