I first started knitting a few years ago but haven’t actually logged that much time. I basically consider myself an “adventurous beginner” in that I’ve knitted a pieced sweater and a lace shawl (among other basic items) but I still have so much to learn!

I’m a recently retired software engineer. Now that I’ve got free time on my hands, I’m hoping to really get into the craft. My biggest obstacle is going to be myself!

I have a Rottie named Emma. In addition to spending time with her, I love reading, hiking, and logic puzzles. And I’m really, really looking forward to the time, post-covid, when we’ll once again be able to hang out at our local yarn shop and/or knitting group.
