thanks Mer and Joyce!

yes, the bubble bag is easy! increasing, decreasing, three needle bind off and i-cord… right up my alley!
a lot of other bag patterns call for picking up stitches, which still scares me. :crying: :??

GREAT work, Jod!
I have always been intrigued by wavy st patterns…I wonder how that happens…Ill have to add something like that to my to do list…
Jodi –
I just popped over here to look at the Bubble Bag, and I love your color choices – especially that first scarf/hat set. Beautiful!
I also really enjoyed reading your “100 Things About Me” list – now I’m inspired. Perhaps I’ll have to start one, too! (I’m such a copy cat lately!)
And … I think I’m going to have to go buy some Noro Kureyon. I’ve been salivating over the Booga Bag for some time now, and I just about can’t stand it anymore!!
Thanks for sharing all this! (Do I have enough exclamation points in this post??!!!)
thanks DotMom! ![]()

unfortunately I “finished” that practice chevron swatch and can’t figure out the mistake… argh… wish I took a pic. I’ll try to post one later.
the beginning (black) is reverse stockinette. pattern says to end the scarf like that. okay, no prob, right?
shyeah. ![]()
I have a pink WS purl row. to end, it says to switch to the black and do the reverse stockinette starting with a RS purl row. that gave me a row of little pink bumps in the black part. is this because I did a WS purl then a RS purl? :??
I went over the pattern and scrutinized the swatch with a coworker, who decided I did everything right (of course I like that answer :D).
since the pattern calls for KPPPM, we think the varigation is supposed to hide that row of pink bumps:
latest bubble bag and half finished strap - hopefully I can finish it and felt it tonight to get it in the mail the weekend to my auntie:
 I broke my yarn fast and bought some KPPPM

Such pretty things! I love making felted bags. Your yarn choices are so pretty. I really like that wavy pattern you made.
and what’s the name of THIS bag, Jod? :roflhard:
Hi Jodi… love your projects, and your choice of yarn and color
I have two skeins of Kureyon in my stash but haven’t decided on what to do with them yet
They aren’t easy to find here in Norway, only one internetstore that sells them, or I have to buy them from the US or UK…
thank you Vicki!

Kelly - can you please name this one :happydance:?
it’s felting right now as we speak, pic to come later :happydance:
Hi Bente - thank you!
good luck. I’m sure whatever you make will turn out nice!
ooh, :happydance: Debbie Gibson is on now, 106.5 is doing all '80s weekend…
off I go to finish a hat along with my cheesy teenage tunes…
I finished my auntie’s bag, finally! :happydance:
another shot
Gorgeous!!
I can’t wait to felt my first thing!! I did a swatch for the very first time this past weekend, and I keep going back and picking it up to feel it because I am so amazed that you can do that with yarn.
Thanks for the inspiration!
thank you Julie!

can’t wait to see pics of your felted piece!
making a bit of progress on the chevron scarf.
this puppy will definitely have to be blocked.

That is really nice. I love the colores. The bag is super cute too. How do you make the scarf wavy like that? Any patterns?
Well, definitely don’t hold your breath or anything … I have a sweater to finish and a tank to knit for my DD first. ![]()
thanks brooke!

pattern is in the book Last Minute Knitted Gifts. the waves are created by
