My daughter has put an offer on a house in North Carolina, so I’m sure I’ll have to go down there if she gets it. I’ve yet to visit my son in Cape Cod. I don’t think I could justify flying out to Chicago.

My daughter is in Sacramento and we’ll be driving up there to pick her up about that time. She’ll only have a short time with us before she heads back to MI for her last year of grad school.

No, she’s not the baby. but I often only get to see her a couple times of year so I take advantage of when I can. Next year will be super busy for her. Besides her own classes she’s a GSI and she was chosen to go to South Africa for 3 weeks during the winter.
well that will be exciting for her. what is a GSI?

BTW … I saw on another web site somewhere that people met up like this & each of them knit a little bitty sweater that had the website logo on it. I believe they wore them like pins so they could identify each other. If only I could remember where that was … :??
