FO Purse and doll cradle

I have made this for my dgd. The purse folds down to become a doll cradle. I didn’t want to knit the doll and managed to find this cute little one to fit into the sleeping bag. I may try to make some doll clothes to go with it.

I made it bigger to hold the purchased doll. Because I changed the number of stitches, I did stripes instead of the hearts. I used Red Heart Soft Touch yarn which was quite nice to work with

Mom2hancj - it didn’t take too long to knit as it really isn’t very big. (I made it a little bigger than the pattern) The doll in it is only 6 inches. If I were to make another, I would make the lining smaller than the outer part and just increase number of stitches on the lining before joining the two pieces together.

What a cute idea. They can go places carrying a “big girl purse” then play dolly when they are bored with that! LOL Neat!
