FO Purse and doll cradle
O my goodness this is just wonderful. I want to make a half dozen.I can’t wait to start. As soon as I saw it, I got the pattern, jumping in with both feet, this is the first time I ever got a pattern from the internet that wasn’t in the freebie sites.
I have several little DGD’s with birthdays coming up.
Did it take you long?
Grannychickadee, it didn’t take long as it is not very big. I did make mine a little bigger than the pattern but the doll in mine is only 6 inches tall.
That is just the cutest darn thing ever!! My DD would go nuts over one! Thanks for posting the pattern!
Oh Sue!! That is so cute!! Don’t tell me…you designed it yourself!!
If not, where can I get the pattern?? Free or otherwise…I must make some of these for my dgd’s too!!!
Yours is so much cuter than the one you linked!
I never would have looked twice at what they show, but I want to make one that looks like yours!
Sooo Cute!!!
Thanks Sue!!! I just paid for and downloaded the pattern for this adorable doll cradle/purse!!!
Shucks, now I’m gonna have to start another project!
Where has my 2008 Resolution gone to?
Oh, my 2008 Resolution was to have only ONE PROJECT on the needles at a time!
Ack! :hair: What am I going to do with myself? I can’t kick my own hind end! I can reach!
Technically, it’s almost impossible to have more than one project on a set of needles, so I’d say you’re within your limits!
I think I found my new project! It is soo cute and precious!
IMHO, any grammie with granddaughters should knit this darling doll purse! It is too cute to resist!
And so quick, too, it looks like! And a great STASHBUSTER!!!
How adorable. Years ago, my mil made my dd one of these crocheting it to the bottom of a softener bottle. I think I still have it tucked away. You did a great job and it is just beautiful!
Thanks everyone. I am now working on a set of clothes for the doll. She is only 6 inches, so it is a bit of a challenge.
