Yarn Shopping in Maine

So sad to be missing the Illinois KH gathering. I’ll just have to comfort myself with yarn shopping in Maine. We fly in to Manchester,NH and drive to Ogonquit, ME. During the week we will most likely go up to Freeport and Portland. Any LYS s I should search out?

here are some reviews of various stores around Maine…

Im sorry we’ll be missing you, too!!!

Thanks , Kelly and Brenda! Have needles will travel!

To all the happy knitter’s in IL-----have a great time(but not too great), take pictures(but try not to look too happy) and think about those of us who are missing out on this FIRST Illinois road trip. See you in Long Grove this fall!

Halcyon Yarn in Bath is absolutely wonderful. I live about an hour and a half north of Bath and I travel down just to go there. I’ve heard a lot about Central Yarn in Portland, but I’ve never been there. Stonington is from the Portland area, so she could probably help you out more.
