Hi Everyone,

What is the difference between DK and Heavy Worsted? Is the heavy worsted the same as #4 worsted? I am looking at City Tweed yarn on line. The pattern I want to do calls for a #4 worsted. It is an open cardigan sweater.

DK is lighter than worsted, HW is heavier but still a 4 weight. You can probably sub the City tweed for the pattern, but it may come out a little stiffer. Or not.
