WS. Don't understand instructiions for 1st row after casting on. Purl 1 WS row

Cast on 117 sts.
Purl 1 WS row. Row 1 (RS): K3, * k1, m1, k3, k2tog tbl, k2tog, k3, m1; rep from * to last
4 sts, end k4. Row 2: K3, purl to last 3 sts, end k3. Rows 3-14: Rep rows 1-2. Row 15: K3, * k1, yo, k3, k2tog tbl, k2tog, k3, yo; rep from * to last 4 sts, end k4. Row 16: K3, purl to last 3 sts, end k3. Rows 17-28: Rep rows 15-16. Rep rows 1-28, twice more. Rep rows 1-16 once more. Bind off all sts very loosely.
Weave in ends and block lightly.

Purl the first row. It will be your “wrong side” (WS) row. What it is calling Row 1 will be your first row in your pattern and will be a “right side” (RS) row.

Purl the row after casting on then put a marker ON the work (safey pin or removable marker) denoting the RS so you’ll know from now on.
