Worsted Weight Sock Yarns

Hello all,

I was wondering what everyone uses for worsted weight socks? I would like to make a bunch of wintery type socks for holiday gifts but haven’t found any interesting worsted weight sock yarns?

One thing about worsted weight yarn is that the socks may be too thick to be worn comfortably with shoes. So that’s one thing you might want to consider.

I can’t think of any worsted weight yarns that are specifically for socks. There are some DK weight ones that I am aware of. I think Opal makes one. In worsted weight you should look for superwash yarns. Cascade makes a superwash in worsted weight.
