I know (somewhere) I asked this before… but I am ready to start this now and I need some guidance.
I want to knitthis bag. But I need to knit it flat. And bigger :roll: Do you think it would read
For the main body:
K1 P1 K1 P1 K45 (or whatever) P1 K1 P1 K1
Row 1: K14, P1, K1, P1, K23, P1, K1, P1, K14, P1, K1, P1, K23, P1, K1, P1
Row 2: K1, P1, K1, P23, K1, P1, K1, P14, K1, P1, K1, P23, K1, P1, K1, P14
Repeat these 2 rows until 10 inches from beg.
Work * K 1, P 1*, ribbing for 1 inch.
Remember, when changing an in the round pattern to flat, you have to change knits to purls, AND reverse the row (last stitch becomes the first stitch for the next row).
Ooooh Ooooh! So that is like the whole thing huh?!?! Yay! I was just gonna work each piece seprate! Oooh I think I like this better :cheering:
Ok, now I am having second thoughts about this bag :rollseyes: I wanted to alter it into a purse w/ some intarsia knit work on the front. How do you all think that would look :??
