Work all sts as they appear?

Hi everyone!

I’m a beginner. I have a pattern that says:
Row 1: k3, p3, k3, p3, k3, p3
Row 2: Work all sts as they appear (k the k sts and p the p sts)
Does that mean that the second row should be:
k3, p3, k3, p3, k3, p3
or should it be:
p3, k3, p3, k3, p3, k3
?

k3, p3 and so on…if it’s a flat V, knit it, if it’s a purl bump, purl it :smiley:
