I have found an easy jumper to knit using 12mm needles - what wool would I use? UK
I have looked at a few super chunky wools but they say 7mm.
Any ideas?
I am trying to use Hayfield chunky wool.

What is the name and designer of the pattern? Is there a gauge or tension given in the pattern or a yarn suggestion?
You could use a jumbo yarn like the Hayfield Super Chunky or Wool and the Gang Crazy Sexy Wool or you could use two strands of chunky or bulky yarn which is close to jumbo. And of course you can play around with multiple strands of thinner yarn to get to the pattern gauge.
Knowing the pattern gauge will help.

I have Hayfield chunky Sprite.
Nice! The video will probably be a good guide.
Wool Ease Thick and Quick is also a nice yarn to use if Lion Brand is available to you. Read some of the comments below the video. They’re helpful about sizing.

Have a look on Wool Warehouse, the yarns have needle size on their yarn like this…
Needle Size - 10mm - 12mm https://www.woolwarehouse.co.uk/cygnet-seriously-chunky-turquoise-552-100g
Woolstack also list needle size…
Needle Size: 10mm (US 15, UK 000) - 15mm (US 19, UK -) https://www.woolstack.co.uk/rowan-big-wool-super-chunky/
Thank you.
Much appreciated.
Thank you so much.
Wow, 8 sts in 4"! That should go quickly! Be sure to read the comments about sizing at the link to the video.
Thank you. I have decided not to do it now.
