Hi, I’m back after a bit of a hiatus. I had a massive lupus flare so haven’t been knitting at all. Recently had biologic therapy and it’s helped a little, so I’m knitting again at least!
I’m trying to knit a jumper for my husband. Hopefully for Christmas this year, but at this rate it’ll be for next year
It’s a vintage pattern by Paton’s, Man’s Textured Sweater. I probably got it from Ravelry but downloaded it ages ago so I don’t remember (could have been Etsy).
Photo of the ginormous amount I’ve already knitted
and the finished article on the pattern.
(Excuse the pyjamas lol).

I’m glad you’re feeling better. Lupus sucks. Like you need me to tell you that. Your knitting is beautiful and the sweater will be great. Enjoy working on it.

Welcome back to knitting!
I know just the feeling of being able to pick up he needles again, so I’m cheering for you.
Whichever Xmas you finish it for it will be cherished and warm!

Thank you both!
Lupus sucks big time lol. We are also in the process of selling our house, and the house we want is super complex (to the point that we’re probably going to pull out, complex title deeds, covenants, chancel repair liability (?!) etc). And the bottom of the chain is being a not-mentionable-in-polite-society person and suddenly demanding money off the house they’re buying (our buyers). So the stress isn’t helping.
But knitting is! I’m very glad to be back at it.
The jumper will be cherished as he’s been nagging me to make something for him
I’m going to try selling some stuff on Etsy too. Just the little Christmas stockings I knit. I have loads of them as I knit them for therapeutic reasons lol. So I figured if I can sell some then it at least pays for the yarn…
I also have insomnia at the moment (as you can probably tell from the time of this post). I’m autistic, so anything stressful makes my brain work overtime with processing, and you can imagine what this house sale is doing!
But tea in my “World’s Coolest Nonna” mug is soothing me
Pic below for proof it’s official

Ugh, house moves are awful. Tea is good.
Cool mug!
