The Circumnavigated Cardigan is fun sweater to make with, so far, no boring parts! There’s always something going on. Here’s the link…it says ‘ample knitters’, but the pattern can be made by anyone regardless of size. It can be made with any yarn and any gauge. It can also be seen on Ravelry. http://www.ample-knitters.com/ordercnc.html
I am using James C Brett Marble Chunky in Seashell.
The pockets are a brilliant design. Right up there with EZ. They have been "fused’ here top and bottom.
Thanks for posting this Jan! I really like the sweater! Yours is coming along beautifully Doncha just love that yarn? It is a really great acrylic! Actually, I was at a knit night at my LYS last week and we were talking about it. The owner, a self admitted yarn snob, was talking about how much she likes it I bought a couple of skeins on clearance at AC Moore about 2 years ago not knowing anything about it. I REALLY wish I had bought up the lot! I think I paid like $3 per skein at the time!
Thanks everyone! I am now ready to bind off the ribbing and start back up and now that the ribbing is done!
Margaret - Yes, I do like the yarn. It’s so soft! I’ve never seen it in a store so I had to buy it sight unseen online. My Knit Night friends were amazed that it was acrylic.
This is a great design, Jan! You’re right! The pockets are very interesting, and brilliant! Can hardly wait to see it all finished up! Good yarn choice!
