Oh… my… word! AMAZING!!! It reminds me of this sweater pattern on Ravelry that my boyfriend begged me to knit for him. I don’t even want to show him this picture of your blanket because he will beg me again! But there is no way in H-E double hockey sticks that I can do something like that! Never!
You’re right: it did take a lot of persistence to keep at this. There were many occasions when I wanted to set it on fire, haha.
I’m actually making this for my brother. He’s really into all gaming, including old school gaming. He is also considering having an art gallery in Louisville that’s strictly old school gaming art and he thought knitting would be a new and cool medium.
I’m so excited about it now that only have 10 rows left! That’s amazing, considering that there are probably 300 rows on it. Seriously, it’s huge. I think 5 feet wide and 4 feet tall.
