Hi,
Would anybody know why, when I knit a hat and start the decrease stitches, the stitches get really loose where I knit 2 tog?
No matter how tightly I knit them there is still this ugly row of loose stitches where I do this do the knit 2 together decrease stitches.
I cant knit the yarn any tighter than I have been. How can I fix this?

It’s because you’re pulling one st over. Knitting them more loosely may help, or knitting the [I]previous row[/I] tighter might. It shouldn’t be a problem when you’re done though, washing the hat will even them out.
