I’ve knitted 2 different sock patterns where the pattern down the leg begins to slant (but it’s not suppose to), the Giotto and the Nutkin. Several people on Ravely posted the same problem with the Nutkin. The designer offered a solution and it had to do with the cuff. I don’t feel the problem is with the cuff because mine still slanted. My neighbor thought it may be the way I do my SSK. I knit the Continental way if this makes a difference.
Sooo, how do you make your SSKs? And do you knit true continental, or combined?
