I bought a skein of red with gold tinsel today…crocheting a doily for my BGF. Who else is joining me?!

I can’t think of anything I could possibly make with it. I don’t like doilies and that type of yarn is usually scratchy. :shrug:

I have green & silver, white & silver, and red/green varigated and silver. I’m using them to make miniture Christmas stocking ornaments. Our family is way too big to buy gifts for everyone, so my sisters and I are making eachother ornaments this year. It’s really fun.

what can a beginning knitter make?? I am all about making stuff this year. hahaha

I bought some at Wal-Mart about a month ago. I belive it’s green, red with silver in it. I only bought it because, I want to make christmas scarves for my dogs. My new little puppy and my other dog are going to be pictured on my christmas cards this year. I might even make some kitty toys for the cats. :teehee:

:teehee: Trust me Jan, I don’t buy the stuff very often (meaning not every year!) and the only thing I make is generally a doily or 2 for someone else…I’m not much for decorating.

I have some of the red yarn, don’t know what I’ll do with it though :teehee:

It is kinda rough, maybe some decorations I can tie on gifts at Christmas.
