Whatcha' Knitting? March 2022

March and the first day of meteorological spring in the northern hemisphere, warmth and radiant light. Or meteorological fall and the start of sweater weather in the southern hemisphere. In either case, it feels like a good time to try something new. What are your knitting or crochet plans for the near future? What’s on your needles now?

Back to blanket KAL squares, can’t quite believe it’s halfway through already. These are extra squares to the 12 monthly one’s of the kal (because I’ll need a lot more than a dozen squares!!)
The pattern idea came from a scarf on ravelry called Off Kilter Scarf, I just tweaked it a little for size.

Trying to get a prem selection of items together. February romper suit still looks the same but some very tiny boots and a cardigan to join the gallery.

Oh gosh those booties are too cute!

Phew!

At last my cardigan is complete. Many of you have helped with tips about the yarn problem for which I am grateful.
The end piece doesn’t look like there were yarn problems which is a great result to the problem.
I’m still not keen in the yarn or the cardigan but never mind, it will be an extra layer on a chilly day.

The pattern called for 5 buttons but I decided to reduce to 3, I don’t think I ever fasten bottom buttons. I’ve used preused buttons to go with the recycled yarn so the whole project is 100% recycled. The buttons don’t all match but I don’t mind, it adds character to this recycled, upcycled piece.

It’s gorgeous. I guess you solved your yarn problem because I don’t see any issues.

Very nicely done, from cables to buttons!

These all look lovely. Just realised that I am yet to post a photo of an item here, I think … I must do that tomorrow.

I had a very minor medical procedure today. Almost too minor to mention, but I have to rest one hand for 24 hours so NO KNITTING. What will I do. Typing is probably not allowed either so I had better go into the garden and pull out some weeds with my other hand!

So difficult to rest when there is so much knitting to do. Stay well, listen to your doctor and look forward to all the great knitting tomorrow.
