What size needles?

I want to make a felted bag with double stranded Cascade 220…single strand needle size is 7, so what would I use if I double strand? I’m thinking 13, and when I’m feeling more motivated I will knit a swatch - just thought I would get your opinions.

I did a “Constant Companion” bag with double strand of Patton’s wool on size 11’s. Worked great!

Generally when you use a double strand, you double the needle size in mms. 7s are 4.5mm, twice that = 9mm which is 11. Yay! GJ and I concur!
