What is your favorite yarn, and why?

Oooh, I forgot to mention [color=blue]Koigu Kersti Merino[/color]. The colors are gorgeous and it’s soft to boot.

Has anyone else here ever used it?

I guess I’m pretty boring - my favorite yarns are Cascade 220 (it works for almost anything and has lots of colors) and Lion Brand Babysoft (great colors and it wears like iron). For socks I like Knitpicks Elegance (great solid colors!)

I’ve used Malabrigo, and I honestly wasn’t super impressed . It’s soft, but I prefer plied yarn. :pout: Ah well, at least we have a lot of choices!!
