What is this stitch please

I want to start knitting and want to know if anyone knows what this stitch is. It my favourite throw and I want to make one.

Others may have a more confident thought on this, my guess is it’s twisted stockinette but produced on a larger needle size than normal to make the stitches more open.
You could try a swatch on larger needles than the yarn calls for and see if it works out (or you may like the result even if it’s not identical). Here’s a tutorial

I agree with @salmonmac…seed stitch on large needles.

Ah yes, seed stitch.

The twisted stockinette looks nice I think I need to try this out myself.
