I am fairly new to knitting and have a pattern with clf and clb. I can’t find a definition in any online glossary. Help!
Does the pattern involve mini-cables or twist stitches?
Just a guess:
Could the directions actually read c1f, not clf, and c1b, not clb?
If so, they would mean
cross one stitch in front so it twists to the left,
and cross one stitch in back so it twists to the right.
It could mean cable left front and cable left back. In other words, it’s a left twisting cable that crosses in the front, or a left twist that crosses behind. Just my guess based on cable patterns I’ve worked before.
