This looked like fun so I thought I would give it a try!!!
Hi my name is Jennie (Jennifer) I have been knitting for about five years now and I crochet off and (nothing major yet). I love crafts such as drawing and painting, someday I want to try pottery. I try to get some knitting in after work except on Tuesdays. Tuesdays are set aside for my other addiction…scrapbooking :). I have an ever growing yarn stash pretty soon my dogs and I will be sleeping on yarn and fabric hehehe. I work in a daycare so I get to make baby/kid items (I do not have children of my own yet) which is always a blast! I wish I lived somewhere other than the city…I am not a city girl I love the open spaces of “farm country”…one day I hope to have horses (one of my favorite animals). Hmmm well I have to go one of the babies is trying to get my attention…he knows he has me wrapped around his little finger lol. I live in Philly and we are supposed to be hit by bad weather along with the surrounding areas so stay safe and dry…if you do not have to leave the comfort of your home then try to stay in

I’m working a scarf, and sweater, and uh… well there are two other sweaters and some socks in hibernation… :doh: And now I want to make a bear and oh man… not enough hours in the day…or I don’t knit enough of them. :teehee:
[COLOR=red]I just returned from Disney World a few hours ago. I think I need a vacation from my vacation lol. We were on the go all the time and there was so much to take in that it really drained me…but I can’t wait to go back again :happydance: . I have been in knitting withdraw for nine days ahhhh. I was planning on going to bed at nine but ended up picking up my needles instead :knitting: I am currently knitting myself a reading shawl/wrap. It is in one of my favorite colors pale lime green (I also love pale pink and pale yellow the list goes on so I will stop heheh). I have a pair of socks on the needles as well but have been bouncing around from project to project. I promise no snake pics in this blog I will leave those pics for my other blog lol

I will try to post vacation pics as soon as I can…hmmm…what else…I am currently on a quest to drop these last few pounds (I lost around 40lbs) so that I can make myself this sweater from sweaterbabe that I want…I didn’t want to go through all that work and have the sweater be too big. I am also making scarves and neck warmers to sell in my etsy shop…but I am in no hurry to do so at the moment…I get the knitting bug for one project then it hops on to a different one lol but I somehow manage to get them down so it’s ok :teehee: Well that’s enough out of me tonight 'm beat!!! Gotta love Disney parks! I live about 20 minutes from Disneyland so we have passes.

Yesterday my sister asked me to watch “my sister’s kepper” with her. The movie made me think sbout how far we are willing to go for the ones we love…how far is too far??? If you have not seen this movie yet make sure to have a box of tissues close by. I was told that the ending to the movie and the ending to the book are different…so I want to read the book now. I ran for an hour yesterday and felt ok afterwards so that is good 
. I am stepping up my routine and woll be wlking/running during my lunch break starting next week…I have a few pesky pounds to get rid of still and the one group member from a group on Rav. suggested that I take it up a knotch sine I am at a stand still (grrrrr). I have lost over 40lbs. so I should be happy…but I am a brat and want it all gone like yesterday hehehee:teehee:. After work I am baking a cake in the shape of a jack-o-lantern (not sure if its spelt right lol). It is out Halloween party at the daycare tomorrow and I thought the kids would get a kick out of the cake =). I was going to make dirt and worms too but am on a tight budget so I decided against it. I posted some pics from my vacation on my other blog very few as I am pretty busy and don’t really have the time to go through all 1111 of them at the moment…but if you woud like to take a peek feel free to do so…I am going to upgrade my flikr account as soon as I am able to so that I can just upload them all on there :happydance:. Well I have to get back to work since my lunch break has been over for and hour now…but all the kiddies are sleeping and there is nothing for me to do at the moment but ramble…I could go wash the dishes…yea…I guess I will go and do that now :sad:. I didn’t see the movie but I read the book and cried so hard. It is such a sad book but very good, very, very good. I have to say am biased though after reading the book and knowing that the movie ends differently I don’t want to see the movie now. I just don’t want to spend that kind of money to see a movie that won’t be as good as the book.
There is only supposed to be one difference…wait until your library gets it in then borrow the movie … I think it is worth wacthing
Today is Pajama party day at work (for a birthday party)…I Wish I was a kid so that I could have stayed in my “jamees” too! I am trying to get my christmas knits done…I have so many to do. I also have two baby blankets to make…I guess I better get back to making the purses…a crafters work is never done :knitting: :knitting: :knitting: .
I have been so busy lately that I haven’t really been able to write anything on here… lets see…In a week or so I am supposed to be going to New York for the day which will be a lot of fun :happydance: I can’t wait I haven’t been there in a few years…I am hoping we can go for New Years as well but that may have to wait untl next year due to the work schedule conficts :sad:. I have started my Christmas gift shopping and making…anyone know of a good Zebra knitting pattern??? My sister loves that pattern and I cannot seem to locate any…I always try to do something special for Christmas for her since she is my best friend as well as my sister…she truely is one of a kind and the brat knows it hehehee. My mom wants another wrap which I am sur I can whip out quickly I just need to find the perfect yarn for her she deserves the best…but then again don’t all mothers??? Well gotta go ttfn!!!
I have been to New York Once and LOVED IT!!! Just make sure you bring earphones or something like that. 
I went to NYC once when my daughter lived there. I loved it! Now she lives in DC so I go see her there. It’s nice there, but NYC has it’s own special vibes.
Tis’ the season to be JOLLY :happydance: :happydance: Wednesday we saw the Rockettes…the show was really cool :). The back grounds are just about as unique as the performances…The bus moves at one point you feel like you are riding down the streets of New York !..here are a few pics
Wow I haven’t been on here in a long time!!! I have been super busy…at the moment I am making items for an amigurumi swap =) The little critter is truning out to be really sute if I do say so myself lol I am hitting the craft store after work to grab a few things then I will be heading home to do some much needed laundry… We did Mother’s day crafts with the kids and boy was that tough…getting 10 month old to paint flowers using their finger tips is not an easy thing to do! The vases came out really cute…I am glad that my boss was the one doing the painting with the kiddies though because I would have worn it lol. Well I am off to knit some more of a blanket…I have to have it finished by the 21st of May…lets hope I get it done as it is a gift!
